Vacancy 1: Sales – Product Specialist (Biosurgery)

The Product Specialist is responsible for building relationships with key accounts and manages a group of key accounts in the assigned territories. The position involves developing new and existing opportunities across Novem’s range of Biosurgery Medical Devices with the objective of achieving/exceeding individual and team sales targets.

Job Role:

  • Work with healthcare professionals and handle product and brand detailing.
  • Maintain good relationship with existing customers and prospect for new accounts in assigned geographical area to achieve sales targets
  • Territory includes the restructured and private hospitals covering specialty focusing on General Surgery, Gynaecology, Infection Control and Orthopaedics
  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely product and service support
  • Coordinate and organise in-service demonstrations, talks and education programs for healthcare professionals whenever necessary
  • Participate in booth duties at local congress and workshops
  • Cultivate good working relationships with medical professionals by improving own product knowledge and communication skills.
  • Manage customer accounts and provide timely feedback on sales performance, market and competitive activities to management in an organised, timely and effective manner
  • Proactively and professionally communicate company brand image to customers to achieve longer term goals.


  • Minimum A level, diploma or degree holders
  • 1-2 years pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience with strong sales track record
  • Dynamic and sales driven, enjoys meeting new people
  • Able to work independently, with self-discipline and also a good team player
  • Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential
  • Candidates with class 3 driving licence preferred

Vacancy 2: Regulatory Affairs Specialist (Medical)

The Regulatory Affairs Specialist is responsible for assisting our senior RA/Ops manager in ensuring overall compliance to regulatory framework governing the registration, distribution and post market surveillance of our products in several territories.

Job Role:

  • Hands-on compilation and submission of technical documents, change notification and licence renewals of new and existing product portfolio
  • Pro-actively liaise with HSA to communicate and overcome challenges in product registration and change notifications
  • Collaborate with overseas partners for submissions. Prioritise and manage timelines to ensure timely market launch of pipeline products
  • Assist operation team to monitor compliance of marketed products to approved attributes and local requirements
  • Review labelling/marketing materials for regulatory compliance
  • Monitor and report ADR/FSCA/Recall to regulatory authorities when necessary.
  • Provide Pharmacovigilance Process training
  • Develop and maintain regulatory intelligence of SEA regulations
  • Other work that may be assigned by manager


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or in Science/Biomedical fields
  • 3-4 years of cross-functional working experience with current knowledge of regulatory requirements: European Medical Device Directive/ ISO 1348; ICH Guidelines/Dossier requirements, GDPMDS and GDP (Pharma) requirements.
  • Experience in compilation and submission of Common Technical Dossiers (Medical Device-CSDT and  Pharmaceutical-ACTD/ICH CTD)
  • Experience in liaising directly with premarket/post-market branches in HSA.
  • Possesses good organizational and communication skills, positive mindset and is results oriented
  • Meticulous, self-disciplined and enjoys challenges
